DOCUMENTARY SAN FRANCISCO ENGAGEMENT: NICOLE + CONNOR
I had the absolute honor of shooting Conor’s proposal to Nicole at Scribe Winery over the summer, then got to shoot their engagement photos back home in San Francisco! We started in their apartment, went to a nearby park they frequent, and ended at the Lyon Street Steps. I love shooting in couples’ homes and neighborhoods, as it is so special to this time and place where you got engaged. This may not be your forever home, so it is nice to memorialize the place where you got engaged!
As always I helped set the scene and gave them direction, but really let their relationship to each other shine through in the photos. An elevated documentary style. I don’t like to run through a series of poses, but guide a couple and allow them to interact naturally.
